About me

Hello, my name is Jesper (as you might’ve already guessed). I’m an independent programmer based in Norway.

I like to solve problems, and I especially like simple solutions that just continue to work reliably over time.

I work with, among other things, website development, automation of tasks, and smaller systems that make everyday work easier.

To me, good software is software that works reliably, responds quickly, and is easy to use and maintain. I achieve that by keeping solutions as simple as possible - avoiding unnecessary complexity that both users and the machine running the software don’t have to deal with more than they need to.

I place strong emphasis performance, security and longevity, not just getting something up and running as quickly as possible.

I’m happy to work with small and medium sized projects, especially where simple and robust solutions are wanted.

Outside of programming, I like to learn new skills, fixing things by myself, and traveling to experience new places and cultures.
